Atelier is a new concept store and art gallery in the heart of historic Christchurch. My studio is on the third floor, along with the studios of the five other founding artists and designers. Although our studios are no longer open to the public, we have created the Atelier store to allow our visitors to really connect with our work in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

We also showcase the work of local artisans and have retail space to rent for a fixed monthly fee with no commission being taken on sales. If you are interested in our retail spaces please email atelierchristchurch@gmail.com with a little bit of information about yourself, photos of what you make and what sort of space you require. We can't promise to have available space all the time, but we would be happy to talk you through what's available or add you to the waiting list. To ensure that we get the best response to our artisans work we try to limit the amount of similar products on the shelves and rent spaces to those whos work is likely to stand out as being unique and of high quality. We work as a collective and decisions as to the artisans we offer space to is decided between us. Please don't be disheatened if you are unsuccessful in your application for a space. It may be that we already have something too similar in store or that we feel you might not reach your potential positive exposure in this environment. We are a very different type of store and we want our artisans to succeed with us!
